Located in the heart of Ozark, Missouri, the Ozark Farmers Market is open May through September. Stop by The Workshop at Finley Farms every Thursday from 3 to 7 p.m. for local produce, meats, artisan snacks, cocktails, crafts, live music and food trucks.
Ozark Farmers Market (OFM) first launched in 2012 on the Ozark Square, and we are now celebrating our new permanent home with The Workshop at Finley Farms.
Our Objectives and Principles:
•Provide community access to high quality, nutritious, and affordable locally grown foods.
•Provide a marketplace for local growers and producers where they can thrive and prosper.
•Strive to promote and expand positive connections between local producers and community members.
•Strengthen the local economy by supporting locally grown foods.
•Emphasize social, ecological, and economic sustainability.
•Educate the community in the overall health and economical benefits of supporting locally grown and produced foods.
SNAP Funds Accepted
OFM will continue to accommodate participants in the federal SNAP program this season. SNAP is the Supplemental Nutrition Assistance Program now in place through the U.S. Department of Agriculture to help limited income people and families buy food for a healthier diet. SNAP clients may buy $1 tokens at the Market HUB using their SNAP card. The tokens may then be used to purchase food items (or plants than can be planted for food) from participating producers. SNAP replaced the Electronic Benefit Program (EBT).
